Creating a Story Board Sub-Chapter
1. Navigation
- Go to:
Setup : Story Boards > Setup Draft Story Boards.
- This opens the Story Board Drafts summary page, listing all draft items including StoryBoards, Chapters, and Sub-Chapters.
- Click
Create New to begin creating a Sub-Chapter.
2. Understanding Sub-Chapters
- Definition: A Sub-Chapter is the lowest level of book aggregation.
- Purpose: Groups multiple pages together for modular content organization.
- Usage:
- Pages can be attached to any Sub-Chapter, Chapter, or Book.
- Changes made to a Sub-Chapter are automatically reflected in any Chapter or StoryBoard referencing it.
- Key Advantage: Modular content creation—maintain individual sections while ensuring automatic updates.
3. Creating a New Sub-Chapter

Select the date the Sub-Chapter is published. |
Note: Other fields can be left blank if not applicable.
4. Structuring the Sub-Chapter
Navigating to the Structure Section
- In the Main screen, navigate to
Structure on the left panel.
- This section is used to assign pages to the Sub-Chapter and define its content.
Key Fields for Adding Content

5. Best Practices
- Use modular structure: Sub-Chapters should contain meaningful, reusable content.
- Maintain naming consistency: Use clear names and descriptions.
- Limit hierarchy levels: Avoid excessive chaining of Sub-Chapters (maximum 2-3 levels recommended).
- Verify before publishing: Keep Status as
Draft until content is finalized.
